David X. Cohen was most recently an Executive Producer of
the critically-acclaimed FOX series The Simpsons. Having
been with The Simpsons since 1993, he wrote
numerous episodes, including "Lisa the Vegetarian,"
which won a Genesis Award and an Environmental Media Award,
"Much Apu About Nothing," "The Itchy &
Scratchy & Poochie Show," "Lisa the
Skeptic,"
"Das Bus," "Bart the Mother" and stories
in the last five "Treehouse of Horror" Halloween
trilogies. He received two Emmy Awards for his work on the
series.
Before joining The Simpsons, Cohen was a writer for
Beavis and Butt-Head, where he penned the episodes
"Couch Fishing" and "Plate Frisbee."
With a Masters degree in Computer Science from UC Berkeley
and a Bachelors degree in Physics from Harvard University,
Cohen has an educational background that has prepared him
for his pseudo-technical work on Futurama. He also
worked on the Harvard Lampoon from 1984-1988. Among his
notable accomplishments at the Lampoon were his stint as
President in 1987, his role as Sports Editor of the 1986
"USA Today Parody" and his work as Head Writer
for the book MEDIA GATE in 1988.

in New York, David X. Cohen now resides in Los Angeles.
